Monday, September 6. Happy Labor Day!

1st Fridley Family Festival Saturday, September 18, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

The local businesses of the Moore Lake Plaza and Moore Lake Commons will be hosting a “Fridley Family Festival” Day as a community service event for the families of Fridley. There will be representatives from the Fridley Police Department and the Fridley Fire Department as well as eye screenings from the Eye Care Center, backpack and scoliosis screenings by MorningStar Chiropractic, a fitness challenge from MorningStar, and cavity checks from Cretzmeyer Dental.

There will be food and beverages (to be determined by sponsors,) face painting, balloons, a Johnny jump-up, and much more.

Location: in the parking lot and businesses at Moore Lake Plaza.

Happy Hour Friday, September 24, 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Northwestern Employees Recognized for Excellence Posted on Sept. 10, 2009

The employee recognition program recognizes Northwestern Health Sciences University employees for demonstrating dedication and excellence in their work. Each month, supervisors and coworkers can nominate other employees for superior performance. In August 2009, 15 employees were nominated for going above and beyond in their work.

Employees nominated in August included Dr. Catherine Gray, associate clinical faculty.
